GitHub will not connect

Messages from connecting a GitHub account, choosing a repository and disconnecting an account.

Updated

Cloud reads your repositories through the Cahaves GitHub App. You connect an account on Settings, Git providers with Connect (or Add account once one is connected); GitHub shows its install screen, and then sends you back to the same page. The messages below come from that round trip and from the repository pickers that use it. For the full setup, see Deploy from GitHub.

Deployments that cannot reach GitHub

A deployment that ends with "Cloud could not reach this repository on GitHub. Check the GitHub App can still see it, then deploy again." means the App lost access after the service was created. Grant the repository to the App again on GitHub, then press Deploy; A deployment failed has the details. A push that did not deploy at all is covered in A push did not deploy.
