A deployment failed

Each sentence a failed deployment shows, what caused it and what to change before deploying again.

Updated

A deployment that fails ends with the status Failed (or Cancelled) and one sentence under its facts. Open the deployment from the service's Deployments tab, or from the Deployments page with the Filter set to Failed. The sentence is Cloud's summary; the Build log under it holds what the build itself printed, and is usually where the cause is.

If the service was running before, a failed deployment leaves it running on the version it had, and its state chip stays Running.

Backup lines on a database deployment
