Connection addresses

Copy both from the Connection card, which fills in the password, the host and the public port for you.

Internal addressPlain text
mysql://app:<password>@<internal host>:3306/app
Public address, once public access is onPlain text
mysql://app:<password>@<public address>:<public port>/app

With another database name or user, those take the place of app in the address. The public port is one from 20000 to 29999.

Choosing the version

The version, the database name and the user are written into the data at the first start and cannot change after it. Choose them on the create form, or on the Connection card before you press Deploy for the first time.

Backups

  • Automatic backup is Daily by default where platform backup storage is available, and can be Weekly, Monthly or No automatic backup. The dump covers the database named at creation.

  • Backup before deployment, on the database's Storage section, takes a dump before each deployment of the database.

  • A dump downloads as a gzip file named after the service and the time of the backup, ending in .sql.gz.

Backups covers schedules and downloads. The console's Restore is not available yet; Back up a database and restore it gives the manual path.
